Bug Description

Vuze crashes on startup, every time. I start it from the command-line by typing "vuze". It fails to start when launched from the menu too.

IMPORTANT: when I install Ubuntu 14.04 on my laptop and then install Vuze, it starts up and operates correctly. I then install other packages. At some point, after I have installed many other packages, Vuze fails to start up. I have verified this twice by re-formatting my hard drive and re-installing Ubuntu 14.04 each time from scratch. This behaviour is repeatable. Since there seems to be some problem here caused by the other packages I have installed, I will attach the list of packages I have installed on my laptop.

Version of Ubuntu (lsb_release -rd):
Description: Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS
Release: 14.04

Version of Vuze I am using (from the output of dpkg-query -l):
4.3.0.6-5

WHAT I EXPECT: that Vuze will start up and show a large window with its usual controls

WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS: Vuze reports an error from the Java VM and exits promptly, without any delay or processing, and gives me the shell prompt again.

Since the problem is a Java exception, I suspect the debugger will want to know what Java libraries and files I have on my laptop. Therefore I have included the "ls -l" of my /usr/share/java
