[gutsy] azureus crash while starting. "An unexpected error has been detected..."

Binary package hint: azureus

Never worked since install, first action was to try and open a .torrent by choosing Azureus from the 'Open with Other Applicaiton...' list. It complained that the file was not a file and refused to start. Every other time I get this error:

I can't find the log file referred to in this text.
