Bug Description

Binary package hint: awstats

Using Ubuntu 9.04, awstats 6.7.dfsg-5.1, apache2 2.2.11-2ubuntu2.1

/etc/awstats/awstats.conf is preconfigured to access /var/log/apache/access.log, while the path contains apache2, not apache.

Furthermore the file is only accessible for root.adm, but the cronjob of awstats runs as www-data, so awstats can't access the logfile and won't work.

To change the path is no problem, but how could one solve the rights problem without compromise the logfile?
