Bug Description

Trying to convert content of a DVD with multiple .vob files. Open first one, asked index: yes, include multiple files: yes...

Total file size around 5.2 GB

Selecting avi settings for splitting: 7000 (MB)
Audio Codec copy, video codec copy...

When saving, the file gets split into 800MB something chunks...

Interesting enough, when choosing 1000 MB for splitting it honors the value, when choosing 6000 MB chunks of 2GB are created, when choosing 9000MB chunks of 800MB something are created (weird).

Sure some parameters in the program got wrong.

Thanks and regards,

Markus

It would be good to test if the latest version (2.5.6) is affected;
unfortunately, it's not packaged for Ubuntu yet (bug #793581).

Changed in avidemux (Ubuntu):
status: Incomplete → New
