window focus always on awn

Binary package hint: avant-window-navigator

I have dock added to my desktop using awn.

also i have some screenlets in right hand side.
Issue is the awn has focus on itself all the time.
that means,
if i close all applicatinos, plug in pen drive and if try to access that pen drive icon on desktop using keyboard, then i cant do it, because focus is on awn and not on desktop.
idealy the focus shold on desktop so that i can use keyboard any time to navigate desktop.
