Bug Description

I have used the following script to ssh to my mt-daap music source for years (the server is running ubuntu 8.04):
ssh $SERVER -N -f -g -L 127.0.0.1:3689:localhost:3689
avahi-publish -v -H `hostname`.local -s "localhost" _daap._tcp. 3689 &

Then I type "localhost" as a daap source in rhythmbox, or simply use banshee. However, in Karmic this approach does not work in neither Rhythmbox nor banshee. Therefore I think the only conclusion is that the avahi-publish command has become incompatible with the daap share.
