Avahi resolver failure: Timeout reached

No connection, always times out

r-desktop:~$ lsb_release -rd

On the other machine is exactly same, but it is a netbook with UNR

I'm running 10.10 on the host
the host will connect to another 10.10 machine
I'm getting this error when I try to connect to a machine running Mageia
