New version of automake is available. 1.11 is important because a very usefull macro: AM_SILENT_RULES.

We have generally adopted Debian's packaging of automake (and other similar tools), only doing minor version updates within series.

I'd rather wait for Debian to package, and adopt from there

- especially true since the Debian maintainer may drop 1.10 along with updating to 1.11
