Bug Description

I rank autokey-gtk as one of the most important applications I use on the Linux Desktop.

However, in Ubuntu 17.10 I cannot get the application to launch.

I installed it like this:
sudo apt install autokey-gtk

Please advise workarounds until this is fixed. This is very important to me or I must downgrade to 16.04.3.

You may try to switch to 'Ubuntu on Xorg' session on login.
Using LTS is better than become a beta tester of 17.10.
