Autokey drops Characters in Xubuntu 14.04 Beta 2

I have upgraded from xubuntu 13.10 to xubuntu 14.04 beta 2. While it worked perfectly in 13.10, in the latest beta autokey will drop random characters or even spaces and squish words together while attempting to insert a phrase in to a text field in browser.

OK, did a little more testing and this seems to only happen in Firefox 28.0. It does not happen in Chrome using the same webpage or a random text editor.

Disabling all my firefox plugins seems to have no effect on this behavior.

I am using Ubuntu 14.04 but am seeing the same behavior. I have a vague recollection of reading that this was related to another issue but I do not recall what I read. Peace - Anthony

Exactly the same problem since 14.04 and even after today's latest updates. Otherwise extremely happy with Ubuntu.

I have also upgraded Ubuntu from 13.10 to 14.04 and have too noticed this bug.

I was testing this issue on Friday and the issue may be resolved in the current version of Firefox. Will confirm and update.

OK, This issue appears to be resolved for me in:

Firefox 30 and autokey-gtk 0.90.4
Xubuntu 14.04 fully updated

I have the same problem in Thunderbird 24.6.0 on 14.04. Random characters are dropped.
