2010-01-22 16:09:35 Ralph Janke affects kde4libs (Ubuntu) autofs (Ubuntu)
2010-01-22 16:10:58 Ralph Janke description Problem: autofs is used to automatically mount filesystems via nfs (including the home directories of users). During the boot process autofs is started but does not work, hence the login into the Desktop fails since it tries to access the user directory. In order to fix the problem, a console must be opened and then portmap be started, and autofs restarted. After this the user can login without any problems. Expected Behaviour: The boot-up process should allow autofs work probably with nfs without any manual intervention Problem: autofs is used to automatically mount filesystems via nfs (including the home directories of users).
