Bug Description
Binary package hint: aumix
/etc/init.d/aumix, on a machine with alsa sound (which means basically every machine on ubuntu releases of the past 2-3 years), is a no-op. All it does is slow down the boot cycle in order to print "Saved ALSA mixer settings detected; aumix will not touch mixer."
