aufs unexpectedly many pseudo links

hi again, i'm getting this error:

...
(many times, see the attached /etc/messages)
...

with kubuntu intrepid 8.10 in usb live/casper/persistent mode, created with usb-creator.
This errors occurs only if i do something (like sudo apt-get update, or sudo apt-get dist-upgrade); if i just boot and wait nothing strange appear in dmesg...
Since all files are stored in the persistence file, mounted with aufs, i'm a little concerned for the data integrity...

having the same issue, found following in mail archive:

Looks like cosmetic, will happen on regular apt-get updates.
Warning should be clearly marked as harmless, or disabled.
