Binary package hint: audacity

The bug has been reported. However, I saw this problem after I tried to change the input and output device of Audacity to ALSA rather than OSS which is default.

Hi,

The program didn't crash for me, instead it has a problem with how it
handles sound. When I try to record something in Audacity, I get high
pitched ringing sound in output. I tried to change its Audio input handling
to ALSA, and now it doesn't reproduce any sound.
