Bug Description

Binary package hint: audacity

Very often, when I try to amplify just a section of audio that's within a track, rather than amplifying the entire track, Audacity will crash. And when it crashes like this, there's about a 50% chance of it blowing a big hole in your data, too.

I should note, this is the Audacity package that's available from the repositories in Ubuntu 9.10.
