Bug Description
Binary package hint: audacity
1) Description: Ubuntu 9.10
Release: 9.10
2) audacity:
Installed: 1.3.9-6
Candidate: 1.3.9-6
Version table:
*** 1.3.9-6 0
500 http://
100 /var/lib/
3) I expected the File Export to finish successfully.
4) Instead, audacity crashed midst of it although other exports (with different mp3 constant bitrate variations were successful).
In my current running system, audacity crashes often if I try to play the 80 min 44100Hz 16bit mono 0.8-volume-level file. Fortunately processing, exporting, and saving seem to work fine. Also, the sound, while playing (a generated white noise), sounded truncated; indeed it was compared to playing the exports with mplayer. Maybe my system is under too heavy load.
