Bug Description
Binary package hint: audacity
In the audacity Effect>Compressor window, all the settings have only one option on the sliders-- Threshold: -1dB, Ratio: 10:1, Attack Time: 1.0 secs, Decay Time: 10.0 secs.
In (hardy?) 8.04, this would show a wider slider, with more possibility, though it seemed to not work well there, either.
This renders the compressor effect useless.
Screenshot of the window is attached, along with what 'ubuntu-bug audacity' will attach.
