Bug Description
When I edit some MP3 on Xubuntu, sometimes this bug occurs. I now have 15.10 (testing), but also with 15.04 this bug happens.
When I press PLAY, i hear a lot of noise. If I play stop, Audacity freezes and sometimes crashes. If i don't press Stop, i hear the noise for some seconds and then i hear the MP3 correctly, but if i stop it and PLAY it again, i hear the noise.
The terminal returns
---ALSA lib pcm.c:7843:
THOUSANDS of times, and then (if audacity crashes and doesn't only freeze):
--- audacity: ../nptl/

As a non-LTS release, 15.10 has a 9-month month support cycle and, as such, the support period is now nearing its end and Ubuntu 15.10 will reach end of life on Thursday, July 28th. At that time, Ubuntu Security Notices will no longer include information or updated packages for Ubuntu 15.10.
