FATAL: cannot locate cpu MHz in /proc/cpuinfo

It looks like audacity requires the Bogomips value from /proc/cpuinfo which is no more
present in modern kernels.

Looks specific to ARM (Trusty still gives bogomips for my CPU).

Could someone talk with Will Deacon from arm.com about removing Bogomips ?
Whats your opinion ?

I believe this error

FATAL: cannot locate cpu MHz in /proc/cpuinfo

is related to the Jack Library and I believe it is fixed in the latest source by this checkin:
https://github.com/jackaudio/jack2/commit/d425d8035b761b4a362c538c41eca874ff4995f0

So, I think updating the jackd library would fix the problem for Audacity. I haven't tested Audacity myself, but I did test another audio library Supercollider which had the same error until I installed my own compiled version of jack.
