Bug Description
Binary package hint: audacity
Obviously all crashes are unexpected, but Audacity crashes occasionally with no apparent cause; doing something it had done a moment ago, for example, without any trouble.
I was editing a multitrack project (imported ogg track plus recordings from the microphone). I generated a tone, undid it and generated it into a new track, then undid all that and tried to generate it into the imported ogg track again, and Audacity dumped. Everything (all ten minutes of work) was unsaved. Blah.

My roommate is having the same problem, and it has repeated multiple times. Seemingly at random times while working with Audacity on Fiesty on his new computer, it will crash, hard. Not just Audacity, but the whole system. He has to hard reboot to be able to do anything. It's only when working with Audacity and occasionally other audio apps are unstable, but not in the same way. I think there are problems in the audio parts of the Fiesty kernel that affect people with newer hardware.
