Bug Description

Hardy Beta (updated as of today). clean install.

Audacious plugins include cuesheet, which has been automatically activated.

However, it does not work. Opening a .cue fails, and opening a folder that has a .cue in it doesn't play it.

I verified this with .cue's that refer to .flac files (supported by default) and also .ape (I added the plugin, which works fine (I can open the .ape))

It works if you go into the Audacious preferences, in the Audio section, and disable "Detect file formats by extension". I still have "Detect file formats on demand" checked.

Hi Walter, the workaround kind of works, but it does not help a lot. With your workaround, if you open audacious and then drag & drop a music (lossless cd) folder from nautilus, audacious does load the playlist but it also loads and tries to play all other files in the folder: the .log, the jpg covers, etc.

For some reason the jpg covers and the log file get into audacious' playlist before the .cue song content, and audacious stalls there.

Bottom line, I still have the .cue plugin de-activated and had to put back the "detect file formats by extension". at least I can listen to the music, but still no joy with the cuesheet and the songnames.

Great... Turning off "Detect file formats by extension" lets the cuesheet load, but to play anything from the list, i have to turn "Detect file formats by extension" again... -_-

Terrible.
