Bug Description

Hello Ubuntu and Webupd8 people,

Regarding Audacious package
WebUpd8 : Alin Andrei
https://launchpad.net/~nilarimogard/+archive/ubuntu/webupd8

The current version of Audacious 3.10 is not installing the QT version which it is supposed to do nor can I invoke it from the console terminal command either, which may be because it was not compiled with the QT option enabled. This was working before. I have contacted Audacious developers and they say it is a PPA maintainer problem issue.

Please check and fix this asap. Thank you.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone!

I am using Linux KDE Neon based on Ubuntu 18.04 and Linux Mint 19.x based on Ubuntu 18.04

Hi Erich Eickmeyer (eeickmeyer),

Thank you for replying.

I thought I was replying to the PPA owner directly. Can you provide more specific instructions? I don't mind saying that reporting bugs through launchpad is certainly not easy nor are the instructions very clear.

I found out the problem was conflicting application packages in two PPA's the webupd8 PPA which is the Audacious recommended PPA and has the QT interface and the "ubuntuhandbook1/apps" (panda jim) PPA where Audacious apparently did not compile the app with the QT option enabled.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and yours and everyone else.

Looks like Panda Jim is <email address hidden> and Webupd8 is <email address hidden>. You can find email addresses for any PPA owner by going to https://launchpad.net/~{username} where {username} is the first part of the PPA URL (ppa:{username}/{ppa}), for instance https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuhandbook1 would be Panda Jim.
