Bug Description

Binary package hint: athcool

After a suspend/resume, athcool setting is no restored, which means the power saving feature is not active after a suspend.

(On my computer, that means a 110 watts power consumption instead of 80 with power saving on).

Here's the pm-utils hook I've added to my system. Should work, but not tested yet.

Can you confirm this hack is still necessary in 8.10 and/or 9.04?

For me the hack is still necessary: Xubuntu 10.10.
Copying the before mentioned pm-utils hook to /etc/pm/sleep.d/10_athcool does the job.
