The latest upgrade to python-pyatspi (v. 1.29.5-0ubuntu2) and dependent related python components do not fix the installation failure of python-pyatspi.
Its still the same, you can get around the installation errors by uninstalling python2.4 but still python-dependend programms like compiz or cairo-dock refused to work:
