Bug Description

New userspace applications to control supported ASUS laptop keyboard LEDs and fan speeds.

asusctl - CLI application that users can use to change LED and fan settings
rog-control-center - GUI application that users can use to change LED and fan settings
asusd - Daemon through which asusctl and rog-control-center interface with the kernel APIs

I have packaged this for Oracular and verified that it works on my ASUS ROG Zephryus G15. I have also had other users in the wider Asus community verify that it works for their machines on Oracular.

Since this package contains vendored rust sources, as I understand, it must go through MOTU to be added to universe rather than going through Debian and being imported from there.

This bug is tagged needs-packaging which identifies it as a request for a new package in Ubuntu. As a part of the managing needs-packaging bug reports specification, https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/Specs/NeedsPackagingBugs, all needs-packaging bug reports have Wishlist importance. Subsequently, I'm setting this bug's status to Wishlist.

I think it's Ubuntu best practice for an Ubuntu-specific package that has 3.0 (quilt) set in debian/source/format to use -0ubuntu<number> for the changelog version. So I would have uploaded this as 6.0.12-0ubuntu1. However, you have to use a higher version number for your next upload so I suggest 6.0.12-11ubuntu1 next time. And then when there is a new upstream version, you could use something like 6.0.13-0ubuntu1.
