Logged out of system when starting Armagetron

Downloaded and installed the game Armagetron Advanced via Applications>Ubuntu Software Centre

Instead of the game starting, i am logged out of ubuntu.

do you mean that when you start the game you are logged out?

Yes, when I go to Applications>Games> Armagetron Advanced I am logged
out rather than the game starting.
