Bug Description

Hello,

I'm the author of arkose and its defacto Ubuntu maintainer. Due to various changes to the kernel, lxc, su, ... arkose has been for one reason or another unusuable for the paste year.

With the current LXC and kernel, it would now be possible to re-implement arkose entirely as an unprivileged tool, which is really what I always envisioned for the tool, but I won't have any time to do so in the near future so I'd much rather see the existing packages go away entirely for 14.04.

Arkose 2.x may then be provided again as a backport whenever I get around to coding it and getting it back into the archive.

Only rdepends is edubuntu-meta which I've now updated, so it's safe to remove at this point.

Stéphane, until that arkose2, do you know of any equivalent alternative?

I mean for quick non-persistent sandboxing (e.g., for build testing) above a bare lxc.
