Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.

I also get this same problem. When starting arista-gtk and clicking any of the icons on the main window, or selecting "create conversion", either on the window or on the menu (File), I get the same trace:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/arista-gtk", line 460, in logo_button_pressed
    self.on_add(None, preset)
  File "/usr/bin/arista-gtk", line 514, in on_add
    self.add_dialog = AddDialog(self, selected_preset)
  File "/usr/bin/arista-gtk", line 1063, in __init__
    self.setup_source()
  File "/usr/bin/arista-gtk", line 1145, in setup_source
    size, 0))
glib.GError: Icon 'camera-video' not present in theme

This is after installing arista using Software Center.

I'll mark this bug as confirmed as it now affects multiple users. I'll set importance to high, even though arista is not a core application, due to the following two criteria:

* Prevents the application or any dependencies from functioning correctly at all
* Renders essential features or functionality of the application or dependencies broken or ineffective

Changed in arista (Ubuntu):
status: New → Confirmed
importance: Undecided → High

Installing gnome-icon-theme-full as suggested by Steffen in duplicate bug #875772 fixed the problem:

Come on, guys. This bug was solved a year ago. Just add gnome-icon-theme-full to the dependencies, otherwise it's a useless program that will baffle and frustrate the casual end-user.

This is frustrating. Almost gave up on the software because of this silly bug.
