Session Setup window does not display recent sessions

Bug Description

The Session Setup window does not display the Recent Sessions, even after having opened and edited numerous sessions. The area where the list would appear, appears to be squashed (resizing the window does not help). This problem seems to occur under Ubuntu 14.04.1 with the Unity desktop as this issue is not present under Ubuntu Studio 14.04.1. with the XFCE desktop.

This bug is still present in Ardour 3.5.380 obtained from USC on Ubuntu 14.10. Ardour 3.5.380 and Ardour 3.5.403 from Ardour.org do not exibit this behaviour.

It appears as though this is an issue with the Ardour3.5.380 packaged in the repo and how it interacts with the Unity DE. The Recent Sessions window displays perfectly fine on Ubuntu Gnome 14.10 and Xubuntu 14.10.
