Bug Description
Binary package hint: ardour
Marking the ardour package in Synaptic leads to the marking of qjackctl and python-twisted (plus related packages).
I do see some justification for qjackctl, but it is not necessary and pulls in some Qt stuff.
The python-twisted family has no place here at all. Apparently there is some session exchange tool in the source tree that virtually nobody uses, that likely even doesn't work and that is not shipped with builds from ardour.org. The rest of Ardour doesn't even use Python.
