Bug Description

In Ubuntu Xenial (and former releases), ardesia cannot be used, because the window to control the drawing gets covered by the transparent window. That means that the buttons cannot be pressed, you can only draw on it. Thus, you cannot change colurs or pens, you can't even close ardesia.

See attached screenshot.

Hi all,

Just tested version 1.1-2.1 with 16.04 and have the same problem.

The program is unusable.

Debian has this bud marked as fixed, but it is definitely not fixed in Ubuntu Xenial. I tried it this afternoon, problem unchanged. Has Debian a newer version than Xenial?
