Bug Description

Binary package hint: arandr

Hello,

for my display I have added a additional resolution mode to use the native resolution of this display (19" 1280x1024 pixel)
I have written a bash-script with follwing lines, so I don't must type in manually after every system reboot:
---
#! /bin/bash
# 1280x1024 59.89 Hz (CVT 1.31M4) hsync: 63.67 kHz; pclk: 109.00 MHz
xrandr --newmode 1280x1024_60.00 109.00 1280 1368 1496 1712 1024 1027 1034 1063
xrandr --addmode VGA1 1280x1024_60.00
---

After I had run this script and try to start "ARandR" form the Gnome-Menu (System |_ Settings)
ARandR crashed.

Thanks, that is already known to the developers. See the linked debian report.

Waiting for it to be packaged, I just fixed it on my machine with this:
http://www.rktmb.org/post/2013/02/06/arandr-quick-fix-invalid-literal-for-int-with-base-10
It's about changing one line, firing the int() cast.
Caution: very dirty, just a quick workaround for those in a hurry.
