Bug Description

Crash was on window of first start wizard when I clicked Start searching

After crash, buttor "Start searching" doesn't work and button to open a window of choice of path to emulator doesn't work too.

I tested my computer Ram memory by memtest and it seems to be fine. So this must be a bug in software. I have installed my system from Xubuntu beta1 CD, fresh install. System is up to date. I have purged package aqemu and install it once more and a problem still remains.
After process of first start wizard configuration AQEMU, I can't create vm because of "SPICE port number incorrect".

Thanks for submitting this bug.

It sounds like this is a bug in aqemu, a front-end to qemu, and happens before qemu-kvm is actually invoked (while trying to find the image to run). so I'm re-targetting the bug to aqemu.

affects: qemu-kvm (Ubuntu) → aqemu (Ubuntu)

The "SPICE port number incorrect" error message is an a validation failure in the GUI.
By setting the SPICE to a random port, then disabling SPICE it allowed me fire up the a vm.

I'm not sure whether I'm having the same issue as reported about, but...

I am unable to use AQEMU with Ubuntu 13.10. In my case, the first start wizard seems to run. But then, after the first start wizard completes, AQEMU won't restart.

Of course, the problem may very well be that I'm doing something wrong during the "auto" configuration phase.

Does the first start wizard create a configuration file that can be later manipulated? If so, where is it? And where can I find some documentation for this program?
