Bug Description

Binary package hint: aptitude

1. Run aptitude and mark some packages to be installed.
2. Apply the actions. While aptitude is downloading, close all view except the download progress.
3. Before the download is complete, click on a menu. Once the menu is shown, do not do anything.
4. Once the download is complete, the installation will begin. The menu is still shown just before the installation begins.
5. When the installation finished, press ENTER.

Expected result:
Aptitude closes gracefully

Actual result:

We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to review all reported bugs in a timely manner. You reported this bug some time ago and there have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time.

Ubuntu 9.10 (karmic) reached end-of-life on April 30, 2011.

Do you still see a problem related to the one that you reported in a currently supported version of Ubuntu?

See this document for currently supported Ubuntu releases:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases

Please let us know if you do otherwise this bug report can be left to expire in approximately 60 days time.

Thank you for helping make Ubuntu better.
