Bug Description

when running 'gksu aptitude', the launched aptitude will not accept keyboard input.

This is in hardy.

I can confirm this in Hardy, still. gksu didn't even come up and it still happened.

Changed in aptitude:
status: New → Confirmed
Matthew Woerly (nattgew) wrote :

Ok, I installed aptitude-dbg and ran
gdb gksu aptitude | tee aptcrash
And there's plenty in that file...
I'm not sure I did this right (unrecognized characters in there?), here it is.
It also had a lot of issues closing, and after I finally get my terminal back I have to sudo killall it.

This is still a problem in Karmic.
