Bug Description
Let's say I cancelled a dist-upgrade before the downloading had finished.
When I go to try it again from the shell I am told how much download remains.
"Need to get 65.2MB/90.9MB of archives."
If I try the same thing from the GUI mode I am told:
"DL Size: 90.9MB".
This should be changed to the remaining download amount.

Thanks for your bugreport.
Synaptic is plagued by this problem as well. It has a lot to do with the
internal workings of libapt. To get the size of the already downloaded packages
it is required to create a fetcher object. This is done in aptitude/synaptic
only for the actual download, not for the "preview window". I think that this is
hoary+1 material (given that we are pretty late in the release cycle right now).
