The error window is too small and cannot be resized

Bug Description
When an error occurs during updates, Update Manager pops up an error window that can fit barely two lines of text (see screenshot).
This is similar to bug 739647, but that one is assigned to aptdaemon, and this one is in update-manager (xprop of the window gave me the PID of the process, which was python /usr/bin/
