Bug Description

Binary package hint: aptdaemon

I am trying to perform an update using 'Update Manager' and keep getting an error with aptdaemon then the update stops and asks me to send a bug report. Update Manager then doesn't display any more updates and I have to click check again before I can perform another update, which then crashes the same way as it did originally.
