Binary package hint: software-center
I was removing monodevelop when I got a dialog saying "The package system is broken". In the details, it says "monodoc-browser". I purged it and ran sudo apt-get install -f. Everything seems fine but software-center insists that the package system is broken.

1. Install Monodevelop.
2. Remove Monodevelop.
What happens: Partway through the removal, a dialog appears, "The package system is broken".
Previously the details mentioned "monodoc-browser". I purged it and ran sudo apt-get install -f. Everything seems fine but software-center insists that the package system is broken. |
