Happened after logging in. The "A problem occurred when checking for updates" indicator icon was active in the panel at this time.

Looks like the crash happened in apt.

We believe that this bug is caused by an invalid cache file, or broken hardware, and I am thus closing the bug, so we can focus on newer ones.
