When I upgrade my system with apt-get, all works fine except when there is a linux image update.
In this situation, the upgrade hangs my system during the unpacking of the new linux image.
I must restart my computer in safe-mode, then execute dpkg --configure -a. After this I can upgrade the linux image with apt-get. |

I wonder if the problem here is not enough memory or something like this. What machine do you have? How much memory (RAM) and diskspace? |
