which makes it impossible to use dselect, which is quite annoying :(

This problem should be fixed with the upload of apt_0.6.44.2ubuntu4 (sorry for the long delay, I was on vacation)

I close the bug now because I can't reproduce it with the latest apt, please reopen if it is not fixed for you after the upgrade.
