Bug Description
apt-cache policy should show the full repository path of requested package, otherwise one cannot know which PPA contains that package.
For example
$ apt-cache policy kvm
kvm:
Installed: 1:72+dfsg-
Candidate: 1:72+dfsg-
Version table:
*** 1:72+dfsg-
500 http://
100 /var/lib/
1:
500 http://
says that the installed kvm package comes from a PPA, but it doesn't tell me which PPA amonst the many I have in my sources.list.
The repository path should be displayed by apt-cache, at least for PPAs.
