I was in the same boat as knokkels, but with a regular google search for the 'medibuntu keyring' i found

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install medibuntu-keyring

I also changed mirrors, like Andrew suggested, and the sudo bash code like Dirk exampled, and now it's smooth sailing.
