Bug Description

The Ubuntu Error Tracker has been receiving reports about a problem regarding unattended-upgrades. This problem was most recently seen with package version 1.0ubuntu1, the problem page at https://errors.ubuntu.com/problem/f29b4d5028eeeff1189351721fe408e6bd01fdb5 contains more details, including versions of packages affected, stacktrace or traceback, and individual crash reports.

This seems to be an apt issue:

apt_pkg.Error: E:Error, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks, this may be caused by held packages.

Unattended-upgrades may catch the exception, but I think it should be fixed in apt.
