Bug Description
If it has the clean option, it will be great, so we can fully replace apt-get with it.

That is the case since at least version 1.1~exp15, so closing as done.
Note that 'apt' isn't supposed to replace 'apt-get'. They can happily co-exist and should be used as needed.
