No way of regenerating /etc/default/grub

Bug Description
If the user has removed /etc/default/grub or wants to revert to the default version of this file, there is no way of getting it back.
Neither is this file provided by any package, nor is there a (documented) way of generating it.

This appears to be an intentional feature of dpkg/apt; once you have decided to remove a conf file, it assumes you wanted it gone when you reinstall. Completely purging grub-pc and then reinstalling will get the file back, but it seems like there should be an easier way of doing this.
