Does it never install anything or was this a one time issue? In the development release there are regularly situations where packages may not be installable because there dependencies are not all available.

Additionally, do you have -proposed enabled? You really shouldn't for the development release.

My error is slightly different but started about the same time as yours!
It says "disk full", but the disk has 6GB+ space left!
I cannot install any other packages either.
I believe somethign patched the apt system useless. Did you make any progression?

You might want to run 'apt-get -f install' to correct these:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
linux-headers-generic : Depends: linux-headers-3.11.0-18-generic but it is not going to be installed
E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages (or specify a solution).

Okay, fo me it is the "inodes problem"

df -ih gives me 100% inodes usage on my / partition. You may check this too?

The following command leads me to the folder which has the most files in it:

sudo find . -xdev -type f | cut -d "/" -f 2 | sort | uniq -c | sort -n

In my case it is in /root.
