uy.archive.ubuntu.com does not works well

Since years working with Ubuntu in Uruguay, most of the times after install ubuntu I have to change uy.archive.ubuntu.com to archive.ubuntu.com in my sources.list because uy archive doesn't works all the times and sometimes is slowly than archive.ubuntu.com.

uy.archive is pointing at a mirror in Brazil. archive.u.c goes to the United Kingdom. You might want to check which way your routing goes.

We don't appear to have an mirrors in Uruguay. I'd suggest finding a closer mirror from this listing:

Well actual mirror in brazil is not working fine for us, maybe it is some
problem with local internet provider (ANTEL). But if I find another closer
and working mirror: Should it be changed? don't you think?

To go to uy.archive.ubuntu.com traceroute goes from Uruguay
to 198.32.124.176 (US Miami) first, then goes throw others routers until
gets to 200.236.31.4.

Don't know why (it is not managed by me).

So I think we could get better repository in Us. Anyone could change it in
default uy.archive.ubuntu.com if I find correct archive server?

I found this as good mirror for Uruguay https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+mirror/mirror.anl.gov

Could you change uy.a.c to point to this other one?
