simple scan crashes when trying to close the app

Trusty is End of LIfe and not going to get an update for this.

It is unclear if this crash is able to be reproduced in later versions of the software/package. If it is, please mark this bug as "Confirmed" and tag it with the release tested on. Until that time, however, I am marking this as Incomplete overall, and Won't Fix for Trusty.
